hi i was wondering if anyone knows of any arabian horse shows going on in the maritimes and how and what you need to enter them also any barrel racing shows i could get some information on would be great

I don't know about Arabian shows - I'll try to get some info for you if I can, but I found these barrel racing dates on the MBRA website:
Show Dates 2008
June 7 & 8 - MBRA Jackpot - Salmon River, NS
June 21 - MBRA 'One Day' Jackpot - Truro Exhibition Grounds, NS
June 28 & 29 - MBRA Jackpot - Lawrencetown, NS
July 12 & 13 - Tom Burt Memorial Jackpot - North Sydney, NS
July 26 & 27 - Crapaud Exhibition & Jackpot - Crapaud, PEI
October 4 & 5 - Central Nova Jackpot (MBRA Pointed) - Salmon River, NS
And here are some NB/PEI Barrel Racing dates:

Baxter's Cattle Company hold Gymkhana (barrels and poles) shows on the Friday evenings before pennings. The footing is great, there are lots of people to help out, and the entry fees are reasonable.
