Stabling: Overnight and day stabling is available and can be arranged by contacting
Karen Blackmore at 765-2450.
For 2008 the rate is $15 per night.
Directions:
From Halifax:
1. Get off Hwy 101 at exit 17 greenwood/Kingston. Turn left off the ramp. (This is Maple street)
2. At the stop sign turn right (Hwy 1/Evangeline Trail. (gas station and Tim Horton’s right in front of you)
3. At the first set of lights turn left.{Tip Top Tack shop is at those set of lights }
4. At the next set of lights turn right. (KFC on your right and Canadian Tire and Sobeys in front of you)
5. Drive about 1.5km. The barn is on the right. It is right after the County Annapolis sign.
From Bridgetown:
1. Take exit 18 toward HWY-10/HWY-1/HWY-362/Middleton/Nictaux Falls/Margaretsville 0.5 km
2. Turn right at Brooklyn St 1.6 km 2 mins
3. Turn left at Evangeline Trail/HWY-1/Main St Continue to follow Evangeline Trail/HWY-1 6.8 km 7 mins
4. The barn is on your left right before the Kings county sign.
OR
1. Take exit 17 for Marshall Rd toward Kingston/Greenwood. Turn right at Marshall Rd 0.9 km
2. Turn Left to head northeast on Evangeline Trail/HWY-1 0.9km 1min
3. Turn right at the second set of lights {Tip Top Tack shop is at those set of lights }
4. At the next set of lights turn right. (KFC on your right and Canadian Tire and Sobeys in front of you)
5. Drive about 1.5km. The barn is on the right. It is right after the County Annapolis sign.

Entries
•Cheques must be dated on the due date. Please make cheques payable to Alayne Edwards
•Entries are $25.00 per level for members of GHRC, $30.00 per level for all others
Tests
The Walk-Trot tests are available at the Dressage Canada web site www.dressagecanada.org.
All others are the 2005 Eventing Tests: www.horsetrials.on.ca/dressage_tests/directory.html
Ride Times
Ride times will be available the Thursday preceding the show from the Show Secretary (902-847-0685). If you include your e-mail address on the entry form, ride times will be e-mailed to you.
Prizes
Ribbons to 6th place. Prizes for top Six placings. Classes will be split into Junior and Senior for placings if entries warrant.
Scratches and Refunds
In order to help us to run our competitions effectively, please be courteous and notify the competition if you must scratch. If you are unable to compete due to a horse’s or rider’s illness or injury, and have scratched as described above, entry fees will be refunded.
Dress
As this is a spring series, show attire is recommended. For novice riders who may not have show attire, clean and neat attire will be accepted. In case of extreme weather (hot or rainy), adjustments may be made and competitors will be informed on the day of the show.
Canteen
A Canteen with lunch and refreshments will be available during the show.
General Rules
•Every class offered is covered by the rules and specifications of Equine-Hippique Canada. Please be familiar with the rules.
•Judge’s decisions are final.
•A given horse/rider combination can compete in two consecutive Levels only.
•Two (or more) riders may ride the same horse.
•Test callers may be used if desired but must be arranged by the competitor.
•Protective headgear must be worn when mounted on the show grounds.
Dressage Tests Only
For those riders uninterested in the jumping phase, you may request to ride the dressage test only. Additional dressage tests may be requested (EC and additional Eventing tests) and your test will be judged. No prizes or placings will be available for this. Cost is $15/test ($12 for GHRC mbrs) and will be offered as long as time permits. Please indicate which test you would like to ride on your entry form.
Jumping Phase
Listed heights are the max that the course will be set to. Degree of course difficulty will be appropriate to the level. For higher levels, some cross-country type fences may be added. Note that these shows are meant to be a schooling type and courses will be set with that in mind
