Ace will be turning 8 in April. He is a unregistered QH/TB gelding. He stands just shy of 15.2hh. He has a very large barrel on him to take a rider with long legs. He is a chesnut with a star and a snip.
Ace was trained for English for 2 years. He went to a show and came out as High Point Green Horse. He has done western. Very nice jog, but needs work on his lope. He has not been worked since the summer when he was used as a trail horse. I have put him over a couple of jumps, but never continued with him. He loves to jump. Would like to see him in the hunter/jumper ring.
Ace needs an experienced rider as he does have some bad habits under saddle. With consistancy he would be an excellent horse as the potential is incredible.
He stands well for farrier. He has had a pervious experience with a farrier that makes him a bit ancy on the hind right. He has been lame once, he stepped on a nail a couple years ago, but never had any complications with it since. He was properly taken care of. Ace trailers well. He is a bit shy at first, but when he is on the trailer he is PERFECT. You will not feel this guy moving around in the truck.
